Hi, You can mod without any problems if you don't make money of it. If you mod just for the love of the game and entertaining, you'll be ok Check Kaskade, he was happy and loved it. Well it's kinda like streaming songs on YouTube from non official music channels.
In either way it wouldn't be problematic because you didn't upload the songs, you just downloaded them. Technically the only illegal part is the sharing of music files.
